BASE CARD
Cut a piece of black card stock measuring 6" x 12", score at 6", anc fold.
MATS
Cut a piece of corregated card stock to measure 5 7/8" x 5 7/8". Cut a square in the middle of the corregated card using the Square Grand Nestabilities die that is 4 5/8" across. Cut a piece of light orange card stock to measure 5 3/4" x 5 3/4". Cut a square in the middle of this card using the Square Grand Nestabilities die that is 4 3/8" across. Cut a piece of dark orange card stock to measure 5 3/4" x 5 3/4". Cut a square in the middle of the corregated card using the largest Square Nestabilities die.
IMAGE
Cut a piece of vanilla card stock to measure 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". Stamp the image in brown ink in the middle of the square. Use a sponge to rub on the distress ink around the image. Color with COPICs. I used these colors:
- Boots: E02, E08, E09
- Hat: Y23, Y26
- Rope: E53, E57
- Shadow: W2
Enhance the swirls, boot stitches, and hat with a Chocolate SPICA pen.
SENTIMENT
Stamp the sentiment in brown ink on vanilla card stock. Cut/emboss the sentiment with the Reverse Wonky Rectange die that measures 2 1/2" long. Use a sponge to rub on the distress ink around the saying. Enhance the swirls and color the edge with the Chocolate SPICA pen. Stamp the hat and 2 boots on vanilla card stock, cut them out with the matching dies, and color with COPICs and enhance with the SPICA pen.
ASSEMBLY
Adhere the dark orange mat to the image, making sure the image is centered in the mat opening. Adhere the light orange mat to the dark orange mat, and the corregated mat onto the light orange mat. Mount the whole stack onto the front of the card. Glue one boot in the lower left corner of the mat, and add the other boot using foam squares. Mount the sentiment to the upper right corner of the frame using foam squares. Add the hat above the saying using foam squares.
