Christmas Bell

Inspiration

Christmas ideas continue with a fun technique on this card - coloring with COPICs on glitter! This card uses a 3-step process:

• 1) Stamp the image.
• 2) Cover with sticky paper and glitter.
• 3) Color!

I used the Poinsettia Bells & Bows stamp set from the Heartfelt Creations' Christmas Cheer Collection. Here is the result:

Instructions

Base Card

The base card is made with a 5 1/2" x 11" sheet of red cardstock, scored at 5 1/2" and folded. A layer of patterned paper measuring 5 3/8" x 5 3/8" is added to the front of the card. A red square measuring 3 7/8" x 3 7/8" is used as the mat for the bell. Adhere the glitter tape around the perimiter of the square, and mount it vertically on the front of the card.

Bow

Stamp the floral bow image on white paper in black ink, and color with COPIC markers. I used R37, B70, and B72. Cut this out very carefully. I used scissors for the main portions, and a craft knife to cut out the detailed parts.

Glittered Bell

Stamp the bell image on white paper in black ink. Apply the sticky tape sheet onto the bell, and cover in the microfine glitter. Cut out the bell using the matching die. Color the images on the bell with COPIC markers - they may run just a little, so color carefully! I used R37, B70, B72, Y35, and RV51.

Final Touch

Add the bell and floral bow to the card using foam tape.
