All of my spare time this week has been spent on making Valentines - my company gives us MLK day as a holiday, so I got an extra day to create! Over the next few days I will post the Valentine designs I've been working on.
Here's the first one - Valentines are sometimes hard to create for men, but I like to combine pinks and browns and I think it achieves the right effect. Let me know what you think!
Cardstock : Base: Riding Hood Red (SU!) 8 ½" x 5 ½" - scored at 4 ¼"; Mat layer: Chocolate Chip (SU!) 4 1⁄8" x 5 3⁄8"; Patterned layer: Daisy Stripes (Kelly Panacci, Inc.) 4" x 5 ¼"; Scalloped mat: Riding Hood Red (SU!) 3" x 3 ¾"; Image layers: Very Vanilla (SU!) 2 3⁄8" x 3",
Stamps : A Happy Heart (SU!) Ink : Riding Hood Red (SU!)
Accessories : Cuttlebug, Spellbinders' Nestability scalloped rectangle; Corner punch (SU!), Ribbon (The Ribbon Retreat)
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Lisa,
This is Michelle Laycock, www.laycockdesigns.com
I've been trying to email you the banner you paid for and I keep getting a "mail delivery failure" message. Did you get the email? Please let me know!
Thanks,
Michelle
I love your Valentine for guys--very special yet not "mushy."
No question about it. A man would love to receive this card from his special "Valentine"!
love brown and pink. very nice card.
"wishing you a happy heart". What a beautiful thought.
