Burgundy Wedding Wishes

Inspiration

Here's my other Heartfelt Creations card posted on the HC blog this week. It's a wedding card, but kind of a winter wedding color theme, I think! This one uses the Bella Rosebuds set, which are just really pretty flowers - they could be used for lots more than just wedding greetings!

Instructions

Image

Stamp the rosebut image on white paper in black ink, and cut it out using the largest classic oval Nestabilities die. Color the image with SPICA markers. I used these colors: Garnet, Olive, Blossom. Finish with adhesive gems in the middle of the small flowers. Cut the largest lacy oval Nestabilities die from the burgundy paper, and mount the image oval onto the lacy oval.

Assembly

Emboss a piece of white paper using the embossing folder. Use the burgundy ink pad to color the embossed pattern. Trim the edges to end up with a rectangle measuring 3 3/4" x 5". Mount this onto the base card, then add the image in the center of the card.

Inside

Mount a white panel measuring 3 3/4" x 5", and stamp the sentiment in burgundy ink.
