Easter Glory

Inspiration

I love purple! And I love the Easter crosses in this month's Heartfelt Creations' release, the Floral Cross Collection. This card from the HC Blog combines these two favorites of mine in a simple card.

Instructions

BASE CARD

Cut a piece of dark purple card stock measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" and fold.

MAT

Cut a piece of light purple card stock measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Stamp the flourished flower in light purple ink randomly all over the mat. Mount on the front of the card.

CROSS

Cut/emboss a dark purple flourished cross. Use the lavender SPICA to add sparkle to all the flourishes around the cross. Stamp the text cross in dark purple ink on white card stock. Use the cross die to mark the edges, and cut it out. Mount on the die cut cross. Glue the cross onto the front of the card, near the top.

FLOWERS

Stamp the flowers in black ink on white card stock. Trim generously. Color with COPIC markers; I used V91 and V99 on the flowers, and YG63 on the leaves. Add a little sparkle with the lavender SPICA pen to the flowers. Mount below the cross with foam squares. Finish with lavender Liquid Pearls dotted on the flowers.
