Inspiration
Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations' Wednesday! This card was made with the new Heartfelt Creations' release - the My Guy Collection.
I used the "Spritz and Flick" technique from Tim Holtz. Yes, I'm taking Creative Chemistry 101 - it is a GREAT class, although it mostly makes me want more time in my craft room!
Don't forget to visit the Heartfelt Creations blog to see all the beautiful creations from the design team. It's only a few more weeks until a new team is chosen, so be sure to have your input counted by voting for your favorite 5 designers!

Instructions
BASE CARD
Cut a piece of yellow card stock measuring 7" x 10", score at 5", and fold.
MATS
Using a deckled blade, cut the following pieces: 1) patterned paper measuring 4 7/8" x 6 7/8", 2) green card stock measuring 4 1/4" x 6 1/4", and 3) a 3 1/2" square of blue card stock. Cut the blue square diagonally down the middle to create 2 triangles. Use green ink on a foam blender to distress the edges of the green mat. Use blue ink to distress the edges of the blue triangles. Mount them to the front of the card as shown.
TAG
I made this tag using the "Spritz & Flick" technique from Tim Holtz. First, using the blending tool cover the tag in color. I used Barn Door, Chipped Sapphire, Crushed Olive, and Wild Honey. When you have those blended the way you like them, add Vintage Photo around the edges of the tag. Now, spritz some water into your cupped hand, and flick droplets across the tag off your fingers. You can do a little or a lot. Create 2 tags using the same colors.
When the tags are dry (you can dry them with a heat tool if you want to), stamp the image on both tags using black pigment ink. Dry the image with a heat tool. From the tag you like least, cut out the 4 words (My Kind Of Guy).
ASSEMBLY
Mount the words to the front of the whole tag using foam squares. Cut 5 pieces of twine about 6" long. Fold them all in half and thread them through the hole in the tag and loop the ends through the fold and pull the ends tight. Push the brad through the twine and the hole in the tag, and fold the ends on the back to hold it in place. Mount the finished tag onto the front of the card using 3-D foam squares.
Thanks for stopping by!
