It seems that every Christmas at the last minute I end up giving gift cards - either at work, or for a last-minute party hostess gift, or that teen-age nephew for whom I can never quite pick out the right thing. But, I like to think a hand-crafted gift card holder makes a gift card a little bit more personal. This one is really easy to make - The gift card slips in the slot in the middle panel, and then you tie a bow to close it.

Apply adhesive to the back of the middle fold and press together.Cut a length of ribbon about 20" long. Apply a thin line of glue horizontally across the front of the holder. Fold the ribbon in half and mount the one side near the fold to the line of glue. Apply a thin line of glue horizontally across the back of the holder.
